Booking Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book with Cal Terra. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions for booking below.

Please note our two cats live on Cal Terra grounds. However, they do not live in the house.

For safety and comfort, Cal Terra is best suited for guests aged 8 and older, and we are unable to accommodate pets. We appreciate your understanding and we look forward to making your stay memorable!

Booking

To confirm a reservation more than 7 days in advance we hold your credit card details securely but do not take any money. For details about cancellations please see below. For bookings commencing within seven days, the full cost of the stay will be taken on booking and this is non-refundable. There is a minimum stay requirement of two nights.

Arrival

Your room will be available from 3 pm on the day of arrival unless otherwise arranged. Check-in is from 3-9 pm. If you require a later check-in please contact us in advance to discuss your requirements.

Departure

Please be ready to vacate your accommodation by 11.00 am to enable the room to be prepared for the next guests.

Cancellation

We recommend that all guests have suitable travel insurance to cover the period of their stay. If you need to cancel please inform us in writing as soon as possible. For cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of a stay there is no charge.

For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling you will be liable for 70% of your total stay. We will always try to relet any cancelled dates and if we do, we will reflect this in the cancellation charge.

In the unlikely event, it is necessary for us to have to cancel your stay, you will be notified as soon as possible. A full refund of any monies paid will be made. No further liability is accepted in this event.

Smoking

Cal Terra, as required by law, is a non-smoking establishment. Please do not smoke inside any part of the building. Evidence of guests smoking inside the house will lead to immediate termination of the booking and being charged for the full stay. A cleaning charge of 100€ to cover the cost of deep cleaning the room will also be levied, payable by the person making the booking.

During your stay

We want all guests to enjoy their stay at Cal Terra. Please be aware of other guests and keep noise to an acceptable level. If during your stay you cause disturbance or offence to other guests your stay may be terminated and you will remain liable for the full balance.

Damages and Breakages

You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you or any member of your party cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/ debit card, or we may send you an invoice, for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

Wi-Fi

All reasonable endeavours will be taken to ensure that you are provided with free, uninterrupted Wi-Fi service. We will not be liable however if for any reason, the service is not available at any time, nor for any loss of data or damage to equipment you suffer as a result of using the service. We may suspend access at any time and for any reason. The Wi-Fi service we provide is intended to be used for general purposes, including accessing the world wide web and email. By accessing the service, you undertake that you will use the services responsibly and that you will behave in a lawful, honest and proper manner. You may not: use the service for any illegal purpose (including but not limited to breaching any intellectual property, copyright or computer misuse legislation and downloading or uploading any illegal material); send any unsolicited commercial email (or “spam”) or any activity relating to it; carry out any “hacking” activities such as attempting to access systems without authorisation or carry out denial of service attacks.

Parking

This is provided at the property, following the signs. Guests are advised that the parking is entirely at your own risk and we do not accept any liability or responsibility for guest vehicles or contents.

Concerns

If you have a complaint or discrepancy please speak to us during your stay so we can respond immediately to any problem or concern.

Website Terms & Conditions

The access to, navigation and use of the website www.calterracasa.com (the ‘Website’) implies the express and unreserved acceptance of all the terms of these Conditions of Use, which have the same validity and effectiveness as any contract concluded in writing and signed.

The observance and fulfilment of these conditions will be required in relation to any person who accesses, navigates or uses the Website. If you do not agree with the terms set out, do not access, navigate or use any page on the Website.

Purpose and scope

These conditions of use regulate the access to, navigation and use of the Website, without prejudice to Cal Terra reserving the right to change the presentation, configuration and content of the Website, as well as the conditions required to access and/or use it. The access to and use of the content of the Website after its modifications or changes enter into force entail the acceptance of these modifications or changes.

Nevertheless, access to certain content and the use of certain services may be subject to certain particular conditions, which will be, in any case, clearly shown and must be accepted expressly by users. These particular conditions may replace, complete or, where appropriate, amend the present particular Conditions of Use.

Cal Terra reserves the right to fully or partially amend the terms and conditions stipulated herein, publishing any change thereto in the same way as these Conditions of Use appear or through any kind of communication addressed to users.

Access and registration

Registration is not required to access and browse the Website. However, to purchase certain services or book services, among others, it will be necessary to complete the web forms set up for this purpose. It is free to register on the Website. Minors are forbidden from accessing the Website.

Under no circumstances will Cal Terra assume any liability for the veracity of the registration data provided by end users, and therefore each end user is liable for the possible consequences, errors and mistakes that may subsequently arise from the lack of veracity of the data.

Intellectual and industrial property rights

Cal Terra owns or, where appropriate, has the relevant licenses regarding the intellectual and industrial property exploitation rights for the Website, as well as the intellectual and industrial property rights regarding the information, material and content of this property.

In no case will users’ access to, navigation and use of the Website be construed as implying a total or partial renunciation, transmission, licensing or transfer of these rights by Cal Terra. Users have a right to use the Website content and/or services within a strictly domestic setting.

References to trademarks or registered trade names, or other distinguishing marks, whether they are owned by Cal Terra or third companies, implicitly entail the prohibition on their use without the consent of Cal Terra or their legitimate owners. At no time, unless expressly stated otherwise, will access to, navigation or use of the Website and/or its content, grant the user any right regarding the distinguishing marks included therein.

All intellectual and industrial property rights regarding the Website content and/or services are reserved and, in particular, it is forbidden to amend, copy, reproduce, publicly communicate, transform or distribute, by any means and under any form, all or part of the content included on the Website, for public or commercial purposes, if Cal Terra has not previously given their express permission in writing.

In the event a user sends information of any kind to Cal Terra, via any of the channels set up for that purpose, the user declares, guarantees and accepts that they have the right to do so freely; that this information does not breach any intellectual or industrial property right, trade secret or any other third-party right; and that this information is not confidential in nature or damaging to third parties.

Users acknowledge assuming the liability, holding Cal Terra harmless, for any communication they provide personally or in their name, with this liability extending to the accuracy, lawfulness, originality and ownership of the communication, without any restriction.
